Powerful Interventions to Support the Foundational Skills Standards
During these webinars, participants will learn how SIPPS® (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) helps striving readers quickly develop the accuracy and automaticity needed for fluent, independent reading. Learn about the systematic decoding instruction and coordinated lesson structure and explore the consistent, level-specific instructional routines that allow students to focus their attention on decoding to develop accuracy and automaticity.
UNIQUE INTERVENTION FEATURES FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 1–12:
Systematic explicit foundational skills intervention
Uniquely-designed system respects learner intervention needs in Grades 1–3 and 4–12
Research-based scope and sequence for accelerative learning
Placement assessment places students at their instructional point of need and ongoing assessment guides instructional decision making
Opportunities to adjust instruction within a SIPPS level and to further intensify instruction with Intensive Multisensory Instruction for SIPPS component
Text selections designed to enhance each level of SIPPS and apply foundational skills instruction
Participants have the option to choose between four sessions depending on grade levels, K–5 or 6–12.
