Powerful Interventions to Accelerate Foundational Skills Across K–12 with SIPPS

Event Description

During these webinars, participants will learn how SIPPS® (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) helps striving readers quickly develop the accuracy and automaticity needed for fluent, independent reading. Learn about the systematic decoding instruction and coordinated lesson structure and explore the consistent, level-specific instructional routines that allow students to focus their attention on decoding to develop accuracy and automaticity. 

UNIQUE INTERVENTION FEATURES FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 1–12:
  • Systematic and explicit foundational skills intervention
  • Uniquely-designed system respects learner intervention needs in Grades 1–3 and 4–12
  • Research-based scope and sequence for accelerative learning
  • Placement assessment places students at their instructional point of need and ongoing assessment guides instructional decision making
  • Opportunities to adjust instruction within a SIPPS level and to further intensify instruction with Intensive Multisensory Instruction for SIPPS component
  • Text selections designed to enhance each level of SIPPS and apply foundational skills instruction
Participants have the option to choose between two sessions depending on grade levels, K-5 or 6-12. 

Who Should Attend: Administrators, ELA coaches, Interventionists, and Teachers interested in learning about the SIPPS program
