Accelerating Reading Growth with Aligned Tiers in Revere, MA: Defying National Trends 

Hosted by Anne and Karen of AB Curriculum Solutions and Collaborative Classroom

Join us for an hour-long virtual session to learn how Revere Public Schools utilized aligned instruction across tiers to support accelerative student growth in foundational reading skills. Hear from the district Curriculum and Title 1 Director, Briana Tsoupas, and school-based literacy coach, Jennifer Howard, as they describe their decision-making processes for program implementation and professional learning. Through this conversation, participants will not only see students’ reading gains as measured by various data measures but also learn about students’ personal successes and triumphs behind the numbers. We hope you join us for this story of growth, impact, and change.

Lenora Forsythe

Dr. Lenora Forsythe will facilitate this webinar. Lenora is the Senior Manager of Educational Proposals and Pursuits. She earned her EdD in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Reading from the University of Central Florida. Her research emphasized professional learning for elementary school literacy coaches. She earned her Master’s Degree in Reading Education from Nova Southeastern University, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Central Florida. Lenora has ten years of teaching experience at the elementary school level that includes literacy coaching as well as teaching first and third grades. Additionally, Lenora spent five years teaching undergraduate elementary education courses that focus on literacy at UCF.
