Event Description

Lead with Intention Professional Learning Series

Join the Lead with Intention series to prioritize your leadership learning this school year! This complimentary series focuses on structured literacy, equipping you with the knowledge and tools you need to effectively lead and support your teachers and students.

How to Participate

#1. Attend the Read. Lead. Succeed. Literacy Leadership Summit on 10/9

Engage in the Read. Lead. Succeed Summit to learn how local leaders have increased literacy success through a structured literacy approach.

  • Learn strategies from literacy experts to foster collaboration among your PL teams
  • Strategize in the creation of systems and structures for a successful MTSS framework
  • Identify how best to support subgroups including MLLs, secondary striving readers, and students receiving special education services.

#2. Register for the Lunch & Learn on 10/10 from 12–1 PM

Take your summit learning to the next level by attending a working lunch with colleagues from across the region. We'll focus on the white paper, “Surrounding Teachers with a System of Support.” We'll analyze the paper together, apply our learning to current PL in your school/district, and set an action plan for how to solidify a cohesive structure of continued (and varied) literacy PL across the year.

This hour-long lunch just might be the boost you and your team needs to forge ahead in your vision for growing successful readers, writers, and thinkers! Feel free to bring your literacy team.

#3. Register for Coffee & Conversations on 10/22, 1/14, 3/18 from 9–10 AM (Virtual)

Make sure to attend these vital checkpoint conversations where we'll elaborate on prior learning, share successes and challenges (because these are inevitable!), gather tips for problem-solving, and discuss how to remain laser focused on our goals when we need to pivot and adjust.
