Event Description

Welcome to the SIPPS Trainer Certification Course Registration Site! 

This course takes place from January 26 through 30, 2026. Registration closes at 11:59 PM ET on January 16, 2026. 

This course is aligned with the scope, sequence, instructional materials, and guidance of SIPPS, Fifth Edition. The cost is $2,500 per educator. 


Please review the details and requirements below before starting the enrollment process:

  • If you have successfully completed the SIPPS Educator Certification Course or are currently enrolled in it, you may start your enrollment in this course by joining the wait list.
     
  • Once we have received your signed certification agreement and verified your SIPPS Certified Educator badge, you will be moved from the wait list to the official course roster. You will then receive a final confirmation email with instructions for accessing the Trainer Certification Course and joining the live sessions.
     
  • Access to online modules will open on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Please note: A valid purchase order or a completed payment must be received by Monday, January 19, 2026 to ensure your access to the online modules.
     
  • The live virtual sessions will be held M–F, January 26–30, from 10:30 AM–2:30 PM Pacific (1:30–5:30 PM Eastern). Participants are expected to complete the "Getting Ready for Day 1" module prior to the first live session on Monday, January 26. 
     
  • In order to obtain certification, educators must successfully complete all online modules, live sessions, and a final assignment. 
  • A final Culminating Assessment, estimated to take 3 hours, must be submitted by February 20, 2026.
  • Certification is valid for two years, with a renewal course required to maintain certification. Renewal is $200 every 2 years.

Course Goals and Benefits

The SIPPS Trainer Certification Course prepares instructional leaders to facilitate professional learning that supports sustained, organization-wide SIPPS implementation. This intensive one-week course combines five live sessions with self-guided coursework.

Certified Trainers will receive a course badge, membership in an online trainer community, and access to a curated set of resources to facilitate professional learning sessions that cover the following topics:
  • Getting Started with SIPPS
  • SIPPS Lesson Structure and Routines
  • SIPPS Guided Practice
  • Responsive, Data-Informed Decision-Making
  • Accelerating Achievement
Course Outline (Approximately 35–50 Hours)
Monday: Orientation + “Getting Started with SIPPS” 
Online Module 1: 2–3 hours
Live Session: 4 hours

Tuesday: Facilitation Simulation + “SIPPS Lesson Structure and Routines”
Online Module 2: 2–3 hours
Live Session: 4 hours

Wednesday: Facilitation Simulation + “SIPPS Guided Practice”
Online Module 3: 2–3 hours
Live Session: 4 hours

Thursday:  Facilitation Simulation + “Responsive, Data-Informed Decision-Making”
Online Module 4: 2–3 hours
Live Session: 4 hours

Friday: Facilitation Simulation + “Accelerating Achievement” 
Online Module 5: 2–3 hours
Live Session: 4 hours​


Upon successful completion of the course, participants e
arn an digital certification badge as a SIPPS Certified Trainer and may receive optional graduate credit through an affiliated university for an additional fee.

College Credit Option

Optional college credit is available through Northwest Nazarene University (NNU):
  • Enrollment Prerequisites: Successful completion of the SIPPS Educator Certification Course and a signed agreement. 
  • Participants can earn one (1) graduate-level credit for the course for an additional cost of $60. 
  • Each credit is worth 15 continuing education hours.
  • Participants may apply for the credit by registering for through the NNU course catalog and paying the course fee. 

College Credit Requirements:  

  • Participation in five online class meetings (M–F, January 26–30, 2026 from 1:30–5:30 ET) 
  • Successful, timely completion and submission of all course activities and online modules, including the Culminating Assessment

Cost and Enrollment Details 

Cost: $2,500 per educator. The renewal course cost is $200 per educator every 2 years.

Enrollment Approval: To be moved from the wait list to the official course roster, registrants must have successfully completed the SIPPS Educator Certification Course and all required certification agreements and enrollment forms.

Enrollment Deadlines: Registration closes at 11:59 PM ET on Friday, January 16, 2026.


Course Term: Enrollees must complete all course activities (live virtual sessions and online modules) between January 26–30, 2026 and complete a culminating assessment final assignment. The final assignment must be submitted by February 20, 2026.

Double-check the email address before you submit the registration form. If you don't receive an initial confirmation email shortly after submitting the wait list registration form, check your spam folder. If you can't locate the confirmation email, email us at onlinecourses@collaborativeclassroom.org. 

Corrections to Enrollment Information: Email your request to onlinecourses@collaborativeclassroom.org. 

Payment Options: We accept credit cards, e-checks (ACH), or valid purchase orders.

Pre-Payments: If you've already pre-paid for the course, please register using the package labeled "Pre-Paid Course Registration." Please have your order number and payment confirmation details ready to input into the registration form. 

Payment at Point of Registration: If you haven't already pre-paid, please register using the package labeled "Course Registration." 

Payment Deadline: A valid purchase order or a completed credit card or e-check (ACH) payment must be received by Monday, January 19, 2026 to ensure your access to the online modules.
  • If you are paying via PO, please have the number ready and/or an electronic copy to upload during registration. 
    • Invoices will be emailed to the primary contact listed on the registration form. 
       
  • If you are paying via credit card or e-check, you will receive an email notification with a secure payment link to complete your payment once you are moved off of the wait list into the official course roster.
Course Withdrawal/Refund Policy: You may cancel your enrollment and receive a full refund by submitting a written request to onlinecourses@collaborativeclassroom.org before the registration deadline of 11:59 PM ET on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refunds are not available for:
  • Cancellations after the January 16, 2026 deadline
  • Day-of cancellations or no-shows
  • Failure to pass the course
