Launching into SIPPS Instruction
Professional Learning Sessions  

Are you implementing SIPPS this coming school year? If so, you’ll want to join us for these virtual professional learning sessions on SIPPS Lesson Structure and Instructional Routines!

During these interactive sessions, you’ll learn how to leverage your print and digital program materials, plan for high-quality foundational skills instruction, and engage in the structured lessons by delving into the instructional routines.

These sessions are for K–12 SIPPS educators who want a refresher on SIPPS routines and to learn more about the pedagogy, structure, and intentional design of the SIPPS program. 

Session Objectives:

• Learn about SIPPS instruction as it relates to structured literacy and evidence-based practices.
• Review the SIPPS program lesson structure.
• Develop a method for practicing routines to build toward mastery.
• Practice the instructional routines.

Session Options:
September 16 - Beginning Level
September 18 - Extension Level 
September 23 - Plus for Older Readers 
September​ 25 - Challenge Level

All sessions are from 4–5:30 PM Pacific Time.

Intended Audience: For Users of SIPPS 4th or 5th Edition in AK, CA, HI, NV, OR, WA.

Cost: Each session is $20 per person. 

Payments Accepted: Credit card, e-check, or purchase orders (billing via invoice).

Refunds/Transfers: Refunds will be processed if you cancel in writing 30 days before the series start date (Refund deadline is on Saturday, August 16th). By registering for this event you are agreeing to pay for your registration fee even if you are unable to attend the session if it is past the 30-day refund date. Transfers are permitted up to two days before your session start date. Please email events@collaborativeclassroom.org to request a refund, transfer your registration to someone else, or to change your registration details. 

Recordings: These sessions will be recorded as a courtesy and the links to the recordings will be made available to registrants after the session, but you must attend each session live to receive an attendance certificate.

Certificates: Certificates of attendance for 1.5 hours of professional learning will be issued to registrants who attend each session live on zoom. In order to track attendance, we ask that you rename yourself on Zoom with your first and last name as it appears on your registration. Attendance certificates will be sent via email within 30 days after the session.
