How Leaders Can Leverage Adult SEL to Promote Teacher Well-Being and Retention

District and school leaders have the privilege and responsibility of helping create conditions that optimize learning. Part of that work includes maximizing teacher retention and prioritizing the integration of social and academic learning.

Join us as Randy Weiner, CEO/Co-Founder from Brass Tacks Innovations shares strategies for reducing teacher demands, creating resources, and enhancing leaders' SEL skills, all of which contribute to increased teacher retention. Leaders will benefit from enhanced well-being as they strive toward these goals for their staff.

Key takeaways from the webinar include:

  • Understanding the context and costs associated with the teacher retention epidemic
  • How to intentionally manage the threat of job stress
  • An introduction to the Job Demands and Resources Model
