Event Description

Building and Maintaining a Caring School Community: Tips for Building a Foundation for Year-Long Success

Please join us for a special panel webinar to learn how to have your best year possible by building a sense of autonomy, belonging, and competency with your class. Starting with a strong and intentional focus on building community is key. But more important is to keep it going strong all year! Sometimes we feel like we don’t have the time for Social Emotional Learning (SEL), many years of research show SEL is key to our students success. We will learn the why from an SEL researcher and the how from district and school educators in the field. You will walk away ready to start your year off right and not lose momentum as the year progresses.
