As a school or district leader, how are you ensuring the effective implementation of research-based practices that will develop students’ critical literacy skills so they go on to become proficient readers with expanded and equitable opportunities to lead fulfilling and productive lives?

When selecting instructional materials it's imperative for consumers to know how to discern the "wheat from the chaff." How do you sort out the good from the bad so that you make the best possible decision for your students?
