Event Description

Collaborative Literacy in Action: A Live Observation Experience


River Forest School District 90 and Collaborative Classroom have partnered to transform teaching and learning by focusing on high-quality literacy instruction that fully integrates social development with academics. You're invited to experience the program's impact and instruction firsthand!

What You Will Experience
We invite K–5 administrators, district leaders, instructional coaches, and classroom teachers to:

  • Visit Classrooms: Observe authentic Collaborative Literacy teaching and learning in action. 
  • Hear from Teachers: Learn directly about their experiences as facilitators and the professional shifts they have made.
  • Meet School Leaders: Hear their insights on leading systemic change and key learnings from their implementation journey.

Intended Audience
This observation experience is specifically designed to support K–5 administrators, literacy leaders, and teachers who are working to ensure that all students thrive academically and socially. Registrants are encouraged to bring a guest from their school
